Currents Collide

Inspired by her collaboration with TK The Architect after working on album art for his latest release "Blue Season", Kimberly Young Sun used photographs inherited by his grandparents. The images depict them in their early marriage-- enjoying life, working, and raising children.

Simply put, "Blue Season" is an album about life. TK's verses create a sense of nostalgia and proved to be synonymous to the images Kimberly was drawn to use in her collages. Both artists are drawn to the feeling one gets while looking out across the ocean, watching currents collide, only to be overcome with peace and a greater perspective of the world.

This commonality, along with many others, made for a successful collaboration.
